Well, after an expensive morning we’re now stocked up again for the next 12 months worth of washing power, toilet rolls, toothpaste, cheese and bacon.

The big cheese
So shiny and new.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel that is the customer service nightmare that I managed to pigeon-hole myself into.
Had an interview with Randstad this morning, nice folk. Had a rather fun computer literacy test, a flash based simulation of a windows environment. Kinda fun, although Rebecca heard me giggling about some of the things it had me do.
With that the heavens opened and it started pouring down, so a quick dash over to the recently re-opened Music Zone to keep out of the wet and I found the BTTF DVD trilogy for under a tenner! Result.
Anyway, back to enjoying my week off.
Finally, shopping done.
YES! I have shopped and won! Toni’s main pressy is now sat in a warehouse waiting for me to collect it.
God bless you the Internet. Saved me so much marching about town looking in shops which aren’t there any more.
Well, it’s nearly Christmas. Better start looking for presents for folk. It’s always my intention to get it done and out the way, but it always feels like there’s so much time left, then all of a sudden it’s the 24th.
This year I’ll get it right. This year…
Oh joy! The last thursday before christmas, and the kids are off from school. Town is going to be so much fun…
No time to read the meter love, I’m just here for the old in-out.
W00t! It finally arrived. Only a bit late then, and too late for the weekend, but hey, when I get home from work tonight I can unwrap and enjoy it fully.

Ahh piss! Been waiting all day for Burnout: Revenge, well, 2 days really, so when I got home and saw a Jiffy from Play.com sat there waiting for me.
Oh Joy!
Well, not so. Open the wrapper and a hint of green shines out of it. It’s no magic ticket, hell, it’s not even a PS2 game. The buggers sent me the X-Box version. Damn them!
Some nice chap on the phone is going to send me a new one though, hopefully the right one this time, and I need to send this one back, recorded post.
Not too unhappy though. They fucked my order completely, but answered the phone in 3 rings, so I walked away happy and knowing what was happening.
If anyone at Eclipse is reading this, that’s the way to do business.
I’ve finally gotten round to ordering Burnout 4: Revenge. Sat here not being able to play it just got too much for me.
