My So Called Life…

So shiny and new.

Not many posts so far this month, but not really had time. Toni is still going through SG1 and now the new series of Lost, BSG and South Park have all started it’s just such a busy life I lead. The sex is fantastic too.

Damn, nearly a week since my last entry. Well, it’s been a busy week. Have been taking Toni through the Stargate, so to speak.

She got into Atlantis originally, and having just started I can see why, but it’s been my task this month o take her through SG-1 from season 1 onwards.

So far we’re up to Season 4, and have just watched Window of Opportunity, which by my reckoning is one of the best episodes ever. You just gotta love Teal’c in full golfing gear.

Anyway, other than that, not much going on, still waiting for the new series of Bsg, Lost and South Park, amongst others, to start on US TV, although it seems to be taking forever to get to October. At least we’ve got another 5 1/2 series of Stargate to get through until then.

OK, so Toni’s sister has very good grounds for calling us geeks. We’ve just ordered our screen correct SG-1 badges from Patch Geeks, now all we need is the rest of the kit.

It’s been more off-again on-again than a wedding day in Albert Square, but it looks like the Stargate game is back, hopefully to stay this time. Stargate Worlds will use Unreal Engine 3 so it should look pretty spectacular, especially after seeing the UT2007 preview… WOW!

That was what I call a good weekend. Cheers to Drew for a great party, always a pleasure mate, and then after a relaxing Sunday I actually had a date. Lovely girl, although I ended up with pineapple in my panini… lol. Hope I didn’t scare her off, if you’re reading this, I hope you enjoyed it too.

I’m taking Toni through Stargate Atlantis at the moment, from the start, right up to date. That girl is sucking up SciFi like some kind of SciFi absorbing machine! And BSG is just round the corner too.

Back to work tomorrow though. Joy. Here’s to next weekend… Oh, that’s right, I’m working Sunday. Doh!

Stargate Information Archive – Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis to Return in July! Woot!

Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis Information Archive: “The Sci-Fi Channel announced when Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis will premier their new seasons. SG-1’s Season 9 and Atlantis’s Season 2 start on July 15th with SG-1 airing at 8PM and Atlantis following at 9PM.”

Bloody scavs! Coming out of the cinema and there’s some guy, getting his Clone Trooper poster. Fair enough. Then he turns to the poor boy behind the desk and says, ‘Got a Yoda for a first timer?’

Bloody cheek! The guy gave it to him. I was in half a mind to say ‘OI! Yoda is for the SECOND TIME!” Bloody scallies! Gorrr, I’m literally seething!

Anyway, that’s three visits (totalling £19.50) and I have my 2 correctly issued posters.

She’ll not get her Clone Trooper though, she never got her card signed. Makes me think she’s not a true fan, just the girlfriend of a freeloader, trying to impress her on a date by getting her a poster. GRRR!
