So I got the new site looking pretty much OK and then realised I hadn’t tested in bloody Internet Explorer. After trying a couple fiddles I ended up with a separate CSS for IE purely because it’s non-standard. WTG Microsoft.
Hmmm, blogger’s been playing up for the last hour… Not good. Especially as I’ve just sent a bug report to them about something entirely unrelated.
I have managed to get the avatar up in the top left (only available on the default style sheet) to render propperly in IE finally, so it’ll no longer look all spazzy to the 90% of people who use that dreaded browser.
OK, time to start thinking about how to create a Blogger API for the Pocket PC, since the existing website crashes Pocket IE. This could take a while. Does anyone know Visual Basic and how to post a form to a URI?
Damn-it. Pocket IE keeps crashing, now I can’t blog remotely. Oh well. Blogger knows now, we’ll see what they say…
