FFS! Disney sez: No Bluetooth for you. It’s geting ridiculous, does no-one trust their customers with content?
Admittedly, I’d NEVER buy any content that had DRM built into it (yes, I know I’ve bought loads of DVD’s, but that’s been cracked now anyway) purely because I want to be able to use that content where and how I like.
If I want to put it on my server and use it on my PC, I will. If I want to put it on my PDA and use it on the move, I will. DRM only acts as a deterrent to me. In fact, I’m 100% more likely to pirate music than download it from a service like iTunes or MSN Music. If there was a similar service for films, unless I could happily burn it to a DVD and watch it on whatever I wanted to, I’d pirate.
Saying that, I bought Fight Club and Twelve Monkeys on DVD the other day, even though I have them on VHS. Hell, I pirated all the Matrix films (I had the original on VHS too) until the huge 10 disk box set came out. I’ve now free’d 2.1 gig of disk space.
